Vanessa Ferrari Wins Floor Silver at the 2021 Olympic Games
Vanessa Ferrari won her first Olympic medal this summer — it was the now-31-year-old's fourth Games to date. Her routine placed her in second behind Carey in the floor final, and it marked Italy's first individual Olympic medal (of any colour) in women's artistic gymnastics.
Ferrari's performance demonstrated beautiful artistry and dance that I couldn't take my eyes off of (which isn't always the case in the world of elite gymnastics). Watch the routine here.
