We're talking Mickey waffles, all-you-can-eat buffets, and bottomless mimosas at the most magical place on Earth, and we found the top 12 spots to enjoy this breakfast-and-lunch mashup. For most of these restaurants, advanced reservations are highly recommended and accepted up to 180 days before your visit. 1. Whispering Canyon Cafe

Whispering Canyon Cafe, located inside Disney's rustic Wilderness Lodge Resort, serves up country cooking every morning until 11:15 a.m. The servers in this Western-themed establishment are known for their hijinks (consider yourself officially warned), while the restaurant itself is best known for its omelettetes and all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets. Fuel up before a long day at the parks!

2. Trattoria al Forno

If you're looking for something a step up from the typical Disney breakfast buffet but still want to rub shoulders with a few of your favourite characters, you'll want to book a table for the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. This table service restaurant in Disney's BoardWalk area serves breakfast daily until 12:05 p.m., and you can meet famous couples from The Little Mermaid and Tangled while you dine. The Contemporary Resort's California Grill offers gorgeous panoramic views of Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon and, on Sundays from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., an equally gorgeous brunch. This sophisticated take on brunch includes live music, bottomless mimosas, a Bloody Mary bar, and upscale dishes like Pineapple-Coconut Stuffed French Toast and Blackened Gulf Shrimp. 'Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind (at brunch, that is). You definitely won't leave hungry after a meal at the Polynesian Village Resort's 'Ohana. 8. Raglan Road

Held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Raglan Road's weekend brunch brings guests authentic Irish cuisine and, at the stroke of noon, an in-house band and Irish dance troupe. The menu boasts familiar Celtic fare like Bangers and Mash and a Full Irish Breakfast, but also unexpected gems like an "American" Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast. An extensive list of wine, beer, and cocktails round out the menu at this lively pub.

9. Tusker House

Anyone who's had the chance to check out the Safari-themed character breakfast at Animal Kingdom's Tusker House already knows this is one of the best character meals on property. The costumes are adorable and the food on the buffet is a mix of traditional Disney breakfast choices and African flavours such as Beef Bobotie and Cape Malay Curry Chicken.

The best way to experience this breakfast is by making a reservation around 10:30 a.m. – the buffet switches over to lunch at 11 a.m., giving you the chance to make your second plate a lunch plate.

10. Garden Grill

Chip 'n' Dale? Check. Farm-fresh foods served family-style? Check. Views of the nearby Living With the Land attraction? Check. There's so much to love about Garden Grill's daily character breakfast. Most of the dishes are the same foods you'll find at any Disney breakfast spot, but the gooey Chip's Sticky Bun Bake is a must-try, and the Mickey waffles are served with a warm chocolate-hazelnut drizzle. It's also Disney's only rotating restaurant, and breakfast is served here daily until 10:20 a.m.

If you need a break from Mickey overload, the understated yet elegant atmosphere of the Grand Floridian Cafe will almost make you forget you're at Disney World. The menu is just as elegant, with dishes like a Lobster "Thermidor" Burger and an Eggs Benedict Flight. Breakfast is served daily until 11 a.m., and this eatery's proximity to Magic Kingdom means you're just a monorail ride away from the magic.

Phins, located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel lobby, serves up over-sized Bloody Marys each weekend that are pretty much brunch in a glass.
