Although some of the scenes could be a little jumpy for younger kids (watching Merida's mom turn into a bear isn't exactly lighthearted), Brave is full of the stuff kids love about movies — humour, fun characters, and a little adventure. Plus, parents love it too for its positive messages and the fact that Merida doesn't need to find love to have a happy ending.
