You can see the magnificent Arundel Castle standing proudly beyond Arundel Lido, a 1960s outdoor pool — heated to 28 degrees — that is the only remaining lido in West Sussex. The landscaped grounds with trees and shady areas have picnic tables, loungers, and parasols. There's a children's play park and a cafe, too.
