If you're on the hunt for your next autumn manicure, look no further than the most recent iteration of Hailey Bieber's viral glazed-doughnut manicure: chocolate-glazed doughnut nails.
Like the original glazed-doughnut nails, the "chocolate" version features a reflective, chrome finish but instead of a translucent, pearly look, this version features a warm-brown tone. Bieber's nail artist Zola Ganzorigt shared a tutorial of how the duo achieved the nail look and thankfully, she also shared all of the products you need. The slight downside is that most are only available across the pond, but luckily we've found some UK equivalents so that you can achieve the same look!
Using her own hand to model the look, Ganzorigt first uses one layer of OPI Stay Strong Gel Base Coat and cures her nails. She then adds a combination of DND Gel Polish's Spiced Brown, Coffee Bean, and OPI Stay Shiny Top Coat to a palette, mixes them together, and adds the mixture to her nails. After adding one more layer of the top coat, she adds the key ingredient to glazed-doughnut nails: OPI Chrome Effects Mirror Shine Nail Powder in Tin Man Can. After gently rubbing in the chrome powder, she adds one last layer of top coat to finish up the manicure.
Mylee's Senior Brand Ambassador, Tinu Bello, has shared some of its products to achieve the same look at home. Start by applying a layer of Mylee's Base Coat Gel Polish (£9), followed by two layers of Mylee's Gel Polish in the shade Choco-Latte (£8), and top with Mylee's Gel Polish in Sea Shell (£8). Finish the nail with Mylee's Top Coat Gel Polish (£9).
Since coming up glazed-doughnut nails with Ganzorigt by accident for the 2022 Met Gala, the pair has put a different spin on the manicure for each season. This moody, warm-brown version is perfect for transitioning into autumn, and we have a feeling it'll be everywhere in the coming months.
