Get a Sneak Peek of the New Dreamy, Floral Glossier London Pop-Up Store
The much-anticipated Glossier London pop-up is here, and it's a floral-filled, millennial-pink dream. The pop-up opens on Nov. 20 at 10 a.m at 13 Floral Street in London's iconic Covent Garden.
Of course, this isn't any old pop-up store — it's a one-of-a-kind, whimsical Glossier space. The store is filled with interactive product-testing stations, secret doorways, and a London-exclusive product (more details on that to come). When it comes to the design of the space, the brand takes inspiration from the local community: "Glossier London reflects the world of traditional British social clubs. With classical architectural details and a customised Glossier floral pattern covering every surface, the space takes visitors through secret doors and hallways to discover Glossier in real life. Hidden in the back is the 'Glossier Rooftop', a full-scale installation that pays homage to the iconic London skyline," Glossier said in a press release.
This is the first London store for the brand, following successful permanent retail spaces in New York and Los Angeles and four other pop-ups landing this year in Austin, Miami, Boston, and Seattle. Glossier London isn't only the ideal spot for an Instagram snap, but it's also the perfect opportunity to trial swatch Glossier Play products, test the buzzy new oil-serum hybrid Futuredew, and swatch the newest launch Glossier Pro Tip eyeliner (proven to last through a very sweaty workout). And it's not just existing products that are available to buy — there will also be a limited-edition Glossier London umbrella (not just pretty, but useful, too) to purchase, with £5 of each sold being donated to Young Women's Trust (a charity that helps young women find work).
Store opening hours:
Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Christmas Day and Jan. 1.
The pop-up is in town from Nov. 20 until Feb. 9, which will give you plenty of time to test it out before buying Christmas presents for friends and obviously stocking up for yourself.
