Janelle Monáe’s Nails Match Her Met Gala Outfit and She Wants You to Know It

The annual Met Gala is always home to some of the boldest fashion and beauty looks, but the 2022 red carpet may be on track to out-stun them all. One of our favourite looks so far has to go to Janelle Monáe, who arrived as the perfect picture of "gilded glamour" from the future.

She told "Vogue" that her goal was all in the details, including everything from the bejeweled Ralph Lauren dress to her matching headpiece, and we couldn't help but notice the finishing touch: her jewel-encrusted manicure. The design on her nails matched the rest of her outfit perfectly, and her poses on the red carpet seemed specifically engineered to show off her entire look – fingernails included.
