Jenna Ortega's Met Gala Manicure Would Get Wednesday’s Approval
Jenna Ortega's Met Gala 2023 look would get Wednesday Addam's approval. From her half-up, half-down hairstyle and wispy bangs to her black Thom Browne corset mini dress with chain detailing and her french manicure with — you guessed it — black tips.
Created by celebrity nail artist Thuy Nguyen, Ortega's nails were filed into a soft almond shape and painted a nude base colour. For the smile line along the edge of each finger, Nguyen used black polish — the exact opposite of what's typically used in a traditional french, but a much more fitting hue for the "Scream VI" actor. Celebrity hairstylist David Stanwell did her half-up style, while celebrity makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis created her soft makeup with heavy black eyeliner.
