Lindsay Lohan is back on our screens, so you know what that means: more beauty inspiration from the 2000s queen. On Nov. 9, the actor attended the premiere of her new movie "Falling for Christmas," wearing a stunning Valentino dress and a milk-bath manicure with a heartwarming detail to complete the look.

The nail look, created by celebrity manicurist Elle Gerstein, was a quintessential milk-bath manicure in every sense of the trend. Lohan's nails were painted a cool-toned milky pink colour and her fingers, which were void of any extensions, were filed into a soft-oval shape. Her ring finger also featured gold decals that read "B·L," a nod to her husband Bader Shammas.

Initial nails started to trend earlier this summer as a subtle way to add a sentimental touch to manicures. A handful of celebrities have shown their support for the nail-art trend, such as Kim Kardashian who wore a bedazzled "P" on her finger in honour of Pete Davidson back in May, Jennifer Lopez, who added a "J" and "B" for herself and her now-husband Ben Affleck in June, and Kourtney and Travis Barker wearing each other's initials at the Met Gala.

Milk-bath nails have also become another celebrity favourite over the last year and have been spotted on everyone from Megan Markle to Kylie Jenner. The trend is particularly well-suited for minimalists who prefer a simple, yet chic, approach to their beauty looks. Milk-bath nails can act both as a standalone nail look or a blank canvas for more intricate nail designs and for that reason alone, it definitely deserves a spot on your nail mood board. Take a closer look at Lohan's designs below.
