Lizzo Looks Like an Emo Princess at the VMAs With This Lip Ring

Lizzo popped up on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV VMAs in Newark, New Jersey, wearing a stunning blue-black Jean Paul Gaultier gown with matching sheer opera gloves and combat boots. She also sported a slicked-back hairstyle and stacked gold hoop earrings, however, our eyes were on the singer's deep blue lipstick and her gold (presumably) faux lip ring.

Lizzo's bold lip look was actually created using eyeliner, rather than lip products. Celebrity makeup artist Alexx Mayo accomplished the deep blue-black colour by using a combination of the Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl in Bedroom Black eyeliner pencil and the Charlotte Tilbury Eye Colour Magic Liner Duo in Super Blue.

The "About Damn Time" singer is scheduled to hit the stage as a performer later tonight, and she's also nominated for multiple awards this year, including Artist Of The Year, Song Of the Year, Best Pop Video, Video For Good, and Song Of Summer.
