On 8 Dec., Megan Fox was added to the list of stars wearing "memo" manicures — a trend that uses words or phrases as standalone nail designs. It's similar to the romanic "initials" nails trend that swept Hollywood last year, except with now, you can say whatever you want.
Fox's iteration of the trend saw her nails transform into long, chrome tips painted in a gunmetal shade. Each finger held a 3D letter, and together, they spelled "boys suck." Astute observations aside, Fox's manicure follows a template of similar designs worn by people like Beyoncé and Vanessa Hudgens. Queen B wore a set of nails that spelled "unique" on the underside of her stiletto tips during the Renaissance world tour, and Hudgens decked out her hen do nails with the words "bride" and "Mrs. T," an abbreviation of her soon-to-be married last name, Tucker.
The best part about memo nails is they leave room to let your imagination run wild.
