Salt-N-Pepa are already a history-making rap duo, and now they're bringing their talents over to the beauty world. The group comprised of rappers Cheryl James (Salt) and Sandra Denton (Pepa) recently teamed up with ultra-affordable beauty brand, Milani Cosmetics, to launch a capsule collection inspired by the styles that became synonymous with their image in the '80s and '90s.
The collection comes with four pieces — two lip kits and two eye shadow and highlighter palettes — and each one is named after one of the duo's hit songs. One of the lip kits, "Push It," comes with a bright red creme lipstick and a liner, while the other, "Shoop," comes with the same items in a nude brown colour. Both kits feature vintage photos of the rappers taken during the height of their careers.
The eye shadow palettes on the other hand come in CD-like packaging and are named after two of their most iconic albums, Hot, Cool & Vicious and Very Necessary.
