Normani and Cardi B's Glass Nail Art in "Wild Side" Video
I'd Barely Move If I Had a Glass Manicure Like Normani's and Cardi B's in the "Wild Side" Video
Much like the rest of the internet's music-obsessed population, I've been watching Normani's new Cardi B-assisted "Wild Side" music video all morning now, and aside from being blown away by the stunning choreography and all the sexy outfits she wore in it, there's one partially hidden beauty detail about the video that I still can't seem to wrap my mind around: the duo's matching glass manicures. During one portion of the video that accompanies Cardi B's verse, both of the artists are seen pressed against each other on a swing wearing nothing but their matching ankle-length wigs and the see-through, sculpture-like nails.
According to a few tags on Instagram, Cardi and Normani's nails were designed by celebrity nail artist So Jin Oh, who also happened to create a slightly more dramatised version of the manicure on Lil Nas X for a previous project. Though the nails are beautiful, I can't help but get nervous at the mere thought of making one wrong move while wearing these and chipping even the smallest piece of glass — but it's a good thing Normani and Cardi B are more daring than I am.
