Olive & June's New Colleen Hoover Nail Collection Is Full of Easter Eggs

What happens when our favourite nail-care brand collaborates with one of the most popular BookTok authors? It leads to a vibrant collection of nail polishes and press-ons, perfect for the spring. What began with a connection on social media blossomed into a genuine friendship and now, Olive & June has partnered with New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover on a nail collection inspired by her books and characters. "Sarah's followers and my readers started posting photos of their O&J manis that matched my book covers. So, we leaned into the matching mani/books concept and created this beautiful collection," Hoover tells POPSUGAR.
The entire collection is filled with nods to Hoover's four most popular novels. "We included some of my favourite icons like my open heart tattoo, flowers, and the pinwheel inspired by 'Heart Bones,'" Hoover says. Many of the names are inspired by different characters in the books. "The colour Corriga is, of course, inspired by Atlas, but it's also inspired by the colour of my favourite car. That car may also be seen in a new movie premiering soon," she says, in reference to the upcoming movie adaption of the book "It Ends With Us" starring Blake Lively. There are also polishes called Lily Blooms and Brave Blush inspired by "Lily's incredible bravery and strength," Hoover adds.
Personally, Hoover loves the convenience of press-on nails, which are also featured in the new line. Of the collection, her favourites are the Magenta Velvet press-ons for her fingers and the Perfect Pinwheel nail polish shade for her toes.
