If you're a fan of Bantu knots, give them a summery update, as seen on Yara Shahidi. The actor's hairstylist SherriAnn Cole left out some face-framing pieces and slicked down Shahidi's baby hairs for the hairstyle, but in a way that gave them more texture rather than setting them in place.
The Bantu knots themselves also got a slight upgrade, with Cole leaving the ends of the knots out instead of wrapping them around the base, as is done with the traditional version of the style.
