Mineral powder foundation may not be "trendy" any more, but I've yet to find anything that works so well on my skin as the Bare Minerals Original Foundation (£22, originally £27), which I've been using for years. It covers without completely concealing my freckles, it stays put all day, and it has light-reflecting particles that make it look awesome in any light. I once had a cameraman ask me what I had on my face because he was so impressed with how it looked on film. — GC
