Bernard Arnault, chief executive of LVMH, has called for the company's various production sites that usually produce perfumes for Dior, Givenchy, and Guerlain to now manufacture substantial quantities of hydroalcoholic gel. The gel will be delivered free of charge to the French health authorities as a priority. Through this initiative, LVMH intends to help address the risk of a lack of product in France, and to help medical workers and essential employees to be able to protect themselves from the spread of the virus.
