Bisexuality is often the butt of a lot of queer jokes, from outside and within the community, and I've come to realise that that sort of teasing and mockery come from a place of other people's insecurity, not mine. I used to be a sorority girl with an eating disorder — I thought I had to look a certain way at all times or people wouldn't like me.
