BioEffect Hydrating Cream

With our skin looking dry and dull recently, the BioEffect Hydrating Cream (£90) couldn't have launched at a better time. Formulated without oils or silicones, this fragrance-free hydrator might feel lightweight, but it's formula packs a major moisture punch thanks to hyaluronic acid, Icelandic water, caprylic (or capric triglyceride, which is a mix of fatty acids derived from coconut that helps treat the skin's surface barrier and prevents moisture loss), and a bevy of antioxidants. And like 99.9% of BioEffect's products, the Hydrating Cream also contains the brand's much-lauded EGF (epidermal growth factor) derived from barley grown in Iceland. In a (very brief) nutshell, the plant-based ingredient helps resuscitate basic skin functions, like cell turnover and collagen construction, meaning this cream doesn't just hydrate, it helps plump and smooth, too.
