I used a wet BeautyBlender to blend the contour into my skin. I should note that the product description says to "swipe it on, then use your fingers or a dense brush to blend + build wherever you want to add depth" but since I'm new to the contour game, I wanted my overall look to be more blended than bold — and that's the exact result I got. If you want a stronger shadow, simply use your fingers to blend, and add more of the product as desired.
