Leave It to Mindy Kaling to Have the Best Response to Oprah's Golden Globe Award

Mindy Kaling may not have been at the Golden Globes on Sunday, but she was certainly cheering on Oprah from home. Shortly after Oprah took home the Cecil B. DeMille Award, the Mindy Project actress, who recently gave birth to a baby girl, took to Twitter to gush about her A Wrinkle in Time costar's big achievement. "Congratulations @Oprah on your Cecil DeMille award at the #goldenglobes," she wrote. "You are amazing. 🙌🏾 Love, your friend on maternity leave." Fittingly, it was Oprah who first confirmed Mindy was expecting during a press line at Disney's D23 expo last year.

And that wasn't Mindy's only funny moment of the night. She also hilariously commented on Reese Witherspoon's introduction for Oprah, in which she gushed about spending time with her in the makeup trailer while filming A Wrinkle in Time. "UH REESE I WAS IN THE MAKEUP TRAILER TOO," she joked. Even though the ladies didn't get to hang out at the Golden Globes, we're sure there will be even more sweet moments among the trio as they promote their upcoming film.
