18 Celebrity Dads Celebrating Their Very First Father's Day This Year

Father's Day is always a special time of the year for dads, but it's even more special when they are ringing in their very first one. This year, musicians like Travis Scott and Brantley Gilbert will be celebrating the holiday for the first time as dads, as will actors Ian Somerhalder, Aaron Paul, Ben Foster, and Jordan Peele. Oh, and let's not forget that Nicholas Hoult, Jesse Plemons, Alexis Ohanian, and John Stamos also welcomed babies into the world this year. Ahead, check out all the new celebrity dads.

1. Ian Somerhalder

Ian officially became a dad last July when his wife, Nikki Reed, gave birth to their daughter, Bodhi Soleil.

2. Alexis Ohanian

The Reddit cofounder and Serena Williams welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. in September 2017.

3. Aaron Paul

Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian welcomed a baby girl in February. "There are no words that will ever be able to explain what just happened to my heart," Lauren wrote alongside a precious photo of their newborn.

4. Ben Foster

Ben and Laura Prepon became parents to a baby girl sometime in August 2017. No other details have been released at the time.

5. Jordan Peele

The comedian officially became a dad last July when his wife, Chelsea Peretti, gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Beaumont Gino Peele.

6. Nicholas Hoult

The actor welcomed his first child with girlfriend Bryana Holly in April. "They have kept the news under wraps, but are so happy and excited," a source told People at the time. Nicholas and Bryana have yet to address the reports, and no other details have been released at this time.

Jason and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley became parents for the first time to a baby boy in June 2017. Rosie announced the arrival of their son on Instagram, writing, "Our little man arrived! Jack Oscar Statham 8.8lbs on Saturday June 24th. 👼🏼❤️"

9. John Stamos

John Stamos and his wife Caitlin McHugh welcomed their first child, a son named Billy after his late father, in April.

10. Evan Spiegel

The Snapchat CEO welcomed his first child, a baby boy named Hart, with wife Miranda Kerr in May. "Words cannot explain how happy we are to welcome our beautiful son into our family," the pair said in a joint statement to People. "Miranda is doing well and Flynn is excited to be a big brother. Thank you for the kinds words and wishes during this very special time." Hart is Evan's first child, while Miranda shares a son named Flynn with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.

11. Chris Kirkpatrick

The former *NSYNC member welcomed his first child with his wife, Karly, in October 2017. The singer shared the exciting news on Twitter, writing, "So proud of @MagicKar! She is the real Wonder Woman! Welcome our new edition Nash Dylan Kirkpatrick!!!!"
