Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford Break Up After Less Than 1 Year of Dating

Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford have called it quits. On 17 May, a rep for Eilish told People that the pair's relationship is over. "We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends," the rep said. "All cheating rumours are false. Both are currently single." Reps for Eilish and Rutherford did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment.

The pair first sparked dating rumours in October 2022 when they were photographed by TMZ at a restaurant in Hollywood. They later went Instagram official on Halloween with a couple's costume that appeared to poke fun at their 11-year age gap, with 31-year-old Rutherford dressed as an old man while then-20-year-old Eilish dressed as a baby. Days later, they made their red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala wearing matching Gucci outfits. Most recently, they were spotted together at Coachella in April.

Near the start of their relationship, Eilish opened up about her feelings for Rutherford in a November 2022 interview with Vanity Fair, saying that she was "really happy," adding, "I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f*cking f*cker alive, but [I] pulled his ass. Are you kidding me?" She continued, "Jesse Rutherford, everyone. I pulled his ass, all me. I did that sh*t. I locked that motherf*cker down."
