Ciara and Russell Wilson Announce They're Expecting Another Child Together
Ciara and Russell Wilson are expanding their family again! On Aug. 8, the "How We Roll" singer announced that the couple are expecting another child, who will soon join their other three kids, in a video announcement on Instagram. "'You look at me like that again, we make another kid… You my heart I'm your rib' 🥰😘❤️," Ciara captioned the post, where she also turns to the side to unveil her baby bump. According to People, the clip was filmed by Wilson during the couple's anniversary trip to Japan in July.
This will be Ciara and Wilson's third child together — joining daughter Sienna, 6, and son Win, 3 — and the former's fourth. She shares Future Zahir, 9, with her ex, rapper Future.
A source told People of Ciara's latest pregnancy: "[She's] has been working and travelling all through her pregnancy. She shot the 'How We Roll' video while pregnant," referring to her new collaboration with Chris Brown. The insider added, "She was dancing on set all day long for a full day's shoot. It's astonishing how much energy she has when she's pregnant." Ciara also she shot a music video when she was 9 months pregnant with her youngest son.
The source continued, "She's one of those mothers who has energy throughout her whole pregnancy. She always calls her life organised chaos — but it's organised chaos taking it up another notch. She loves being a mother so this is what she loves doing. This is what she has always wanted, and Russ too. They've always wanted a lot of kids."
Ciara and Wilson's baby news comes as no surprise, as the NFL player previously asked his wife if they could have another child during their March 2022 appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." At the time, Ciara said, "We definitely can, but [I just need] a little time before we get there." It seems now they've found the perfect time to grow their family by one more.
