Halle Berry's Boyfriend, Van Hunt, Shares Affectionate Instagram Post on Her 56th Birthday
Halle Berry's boyfriend, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Van Hunt, has wished her a happy 56th birthday. In an Instagram collage of photos and videos of Berry shared on Aug. 14, Hunt wrote, "Hi, baby. It's ur bday, and against ur wishes I am screaming it to the mountaintops, and celebrating with the world the wonderful, loving, funny, and life-giving force you are."
He continued his tribute to his girlfriend by emphasising the first letters of "Happy Birthday," which happen to be Berry's initials. "(H)appy (B)irthday, boo. I love you with everything I got," he finished.
The pair began dating in 2020, starting out their relationship over the phone due to COVID lockdowns. "I wish I had met him sooner so I could have loved him longer," Berry said in a November 2021 interview with Women's Health. "I just feel fulfiled. I feel happy in my life romantically, as a mother, as an artist. I'm a much better mother in this circumstance than I would have been had I stayed in a romantic relationship that didn't serve me and didn't make me feel the way I need to feel as a woman."
The "Catwoman" actor has been married three times previously and has two kids — a daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry, whom she shares with Gabriel Aubry, and Maceo-Robert Martinez, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. While she and Hunt aren't yet known to be married, they did undergo an informal commitment ceremony orchestrated in Berry's car by her son, Maceo.
