Thompson and Kardashian announced they were expecting in December 2017 alongside a beautiful shot of Thompson cradling Kardashian's baby bump. "My greatest dream realised! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering, but God had a plan all along," Kardashian wrote about the exciting news on Instagram. Thompson and Kardashian's daughter, True Thompson, was born on 12 April, 2018.
Following the sweet addition of baby True to the extended Kardashian-Jenner clan, her grandmother, Kris Jenner, shared the special meaning behind her granddaughter's unique name. "I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton....my real Dad's name was Robert True Houghton...so I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!" the momager revealed in a tweet.
Unfortunately, just days prior to the birth of True, reports of Thompson's infidelity broke out, causing a hitch during what was meant to be one of their happiest moments as parents. Though they rekindled their romance a few times, they split up for good in June 2021, and now the pair successfully continue to co-parent their baby girl. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has never kept Thompson on the sidelines as a father to their girl. In fact, in an April 2022 chat with Robin Roberts for GMA, Kardashian praised Thompson for his parenting skills, calling him "a great dad."
Celebrating his daughter turning one, Thompson shared an adorable picture with True with the caption, "True-ly Perfect. My baby girl is one today. Man time goes by soo fast but I'm loving every minute of it. Can't wait for us to sit home all day and watch lion king and paw patrol lol. ❤️❤️❤️ #MyTwin."
True appears to have a close bond with her older brother, Prince. On 23 June, 2018, Thompson shared a cute picture on Instagram with the two siblings holding hands while sitting on his lap. In another photo, Prince was holding his baby sister and kissing her cheek. In an October 2021 post, Thompson shared a snap of the siblings standing side-by-side in an arcade. "Let me love you a little more, before you are not so little anymore #MyEverything," he captioned the image.
Kardashian penned a heartfelt post for True's fourth birthday in April 2022. "Happy 4th Birthday my baby!!! I wish I could bottle you up and keep you little forever. At the same time watching you grow into the little lady you are has been the biggest honour of my life. Thank you for choosing me sweet True," she wrote. "My biggest blessing. My sweetest reward. The one who changed my life forever. I love you my special soulmate."
