The duo stepped out together at the 2018 Met Gala, but Shawn explained to People that it was simply because they were friends who had both been asked to rep Tommy Hilfiger.
Shawn did, eventually, admit to Rolling Stone that they were "more than friends" back in 2018, but steered clear of labeling it a full-fledged relationship.
