Before Issa Rae stole our hearts with Insecure, she shared her dreams with her loyal Twitter followers. "When I grow up, I want to be a more successful version of me," she wrote. Over a decade later, Rae has starred in The Hate U Give, Hair Love, and The Lovebirds; hosted Saturday Night Live; been in seven music videos; and accepted a BET Award and an NAACP Image Award for her role on Insecure. So, yeah, we'd say she's a more successful version of herself for sure.
