Kitty Cugnetto

Waddingham and Cugnetto reportedly welcomed Kitty in 2016. According to The Daily Mail, while the actor was filming "Krypton" in Belfast, she received a call in which she was informed that her daughter had been diagnosed with Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP). Mayo Clinic describes HSP as "a disorder that causes the small blood vessels in your skin, joints, intestines, and kidneys to become inflamed and bleed."

The "Ted Lasso" star previously opened up about her daughter's illness in an interview with the "White Wine Question Time" podcast. "My daughter became ill suddenly and randomly, and we still don't quite know why. She had a thing called HSP, which for anyone who knows what that's like, it's really horrific," she said. "When she got ill suddenly, I couldn't get home even though I was only in Belfast. The last flight had left that night."

Waddingham continued by saying she had spoken to her daughter just before then and "she was absolutely fine," but then she woke up and had "giraffe splats of brown" across her body that turned out to be "capillaries bursting over her little leggies." Waddingham said she tried booking a helicopter to return to her daughter and her producers even tried getting her a boat, but none of those plans worked out. Luckily, she was able to get a flight the following day, and although her daughter appeared "fine-ish," her illness continued for the next few months.

The situation influenced Waddingham's desire to work closer to home. "I am first and foremost a mum, and more importantly a single mum," she said. Thankfully, her role in "Ted Lasso" gave her exactly what she wanted.

Waddingham has posted a few pictures of her daughter on Instagram, and by the looks of it, Kitty seems to enjoy the outdoors, especially going on walks with her family.
