In October 2015, Teigen announced via Instagram that she and Legend were expecting their first child together. "John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. Months later, on 14 April, 2016, the couple's daughter Luna was born. Teigen shared the good news in an Instagram post of the newborn's height and weight, writing, "She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy. ❤️👶🏽😍"
