Simone Ashley Gives Bond Girl Vibes as she Takes to the Mountains with her Mystery "Snowman"
Christmas Day might be over, but Simone Ashley is ensuring the festive feels continue. The "Bridgerton" star posted a series of photos amongst an idyllic backdrop as she has been holidaying in the mountains with her pet pooch and her "snowman". Posting the snaps on 29 Dec., the actor opens her carousel with a look that could have been straight from a James Bond movie.
Ashley wears a super sleek black polo neck top perfect for skiing as she faces the low winter sun giving a golden glow. With little makeup, Ashley's soft curls are blowing back in the wind as fans immediately took to the comments to praise her look. Her makeup artist, Alex Babsky, even wrote, "Bond girl? 🤔❤️️" and we have to admit, we see it. Another commented, "The bond woman/villain of my dreams".
Ashley later changes into a black puffer jacket with a knitted beanie hat to hug her adorable pet dog, as well as adding snaps of postcard-worthy scenery and a close-up of her pooch dusted in a little snow. Although there is one particular photo that caught fans attention. Standing next to a string of fairy lights on a tree stands a man in a chunky knitted jumper. While there is no confirmation of his identity, Ashley captions the posts, "My pooch and snowman in the mountains x".
Just a week earlier, Ashley also posted two polaroid snaps on Instagram, one of a birthday cake and another of a guy blowing out candles, captioned with, "The best birthday surprise for the best person 🎂 x"
Ashley wrapped up 2022 by filming a fun sketch including lots of rom-com references for British Vogue, attending The Fashion Awards in a show-stopping glistening gown and, of course, filming "Bridgerton" Season 3, so it's only right the star has taken a well-earned break. We can't wait to see what 2023 will bring for the actor, but may we suggest a Bond role?
