She may be 26 now, but "Euphoria" star Zendaya is still celebrating her inner child. On 2 Sept., just one day after her official birthday, the actor shared the ultimate throwback photo on Instagram. In the photo, a little Zendaya looks ecstatic to be spending time hanging out in a pool.
Zendaya used the caption on the exuberant photo of her younger self to tell her friends and followers just how grateful she was for all the love she received on her special day. "I get to spend the day responding to the most beautiful messages (sorry I'm a little late) thank ya'll for filling my heart with so much love, I couldn't be more grateful 💕 Here's to 26!" she wrote.
It wasn't long before the comments section was filled up with well-wishes from her famous friends. Kerry Washington wrote, "Happy happy happy birthday beautiful!!!!!! Xoxoxoxo." While her "Euphoria" costar Hunter Schafer added, "happy birthday boob :'))."
Schafer wasn't Zendaya's only "Euphoria" costar to celebrate her on her special day. Storm Reid, who plays Zendaya's character Rue's little sister on the HBO show, posted a series of photos of her and her onscreen big sister to Instagram alongside a sweet caption. "Forever in awe of you," Reid wrote. "Happy birthday big sis. no words to describe my love for you. ♾♥️"
The "Spider-Man: No Way Home" actor has a good excuse for being a little bit late replying to all of her birthday messages. According to People, Zendaya spent her birthday with her boyfriend and "Spider-Man" costar Tom Holland. On Thursday, the duo celebrated her turning 26 at New York City's MAMO.
Holland and Zendaya like to keep their relationship as private as possible, but they have spoken out about their feelings for each other in the past. In a November 2021 interview with GQ, Holland said of their relationship, "It's not a conversation that I can have without her. You know, I respect her too much to say… This isn't my story. It's our story. And we'll talk about what it is when we're ready to talk about it together."
