Zendaya Delivers Powerful Acceptance Speech as GQ's Woman of the Year: "Take in the Moment"
Listen up, because Zendaya has some words of wisdom we could all use. On Nov. 28, the 23-year-old actress delivered a heartfelt speech while accepting GQ's 2019 Woman Of The Year award in Sydney, Australia. Taking the stage, the Euphoria star — who stunned in a white two-piece ensemble — shared an important message about cherishing life. "Sometimes I feel like I work so much, I forget about life and to actually be present in these kinds of moments," she said. "I'm going to take a second to look around and think, 'Holy sh*t, this is happening.'" She went on to thank everyone for their support before encouraging guests to "have a beautiful night, and take in the moment."
GQ honoured Zendaya for her continued efforts to raise awareness of social issues while mastering her craft as a singer, Hollywood notable, and fashion icon.
