Apparently Matthew McConaughey Had No Idea He Has a Full Frontal Nude Scene in Serenity

There's been a lot of hype surrounding Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway's new thriller Serenity. The general consensus seems to be that it's absolutely bonkers, and viewers are in for quite the ride. (Considering the film's reviews, you can interpret that any way you want to.) But there might be another reason to check out the movie: at one point, McConaughey is totally naked.

The 49-year-old actor sat down with Stephen Colbert on Thursday to talk about the film, and Colbert — who is doing the Lord's work — brought up the bare scene. When the host mentioned that McConaughey is "buck naked" in one part, the Serenity star replied, "That's what I keep hearing!" Apparently, he's a little confused about whether or not the current screenings include updated edits with the nude scene.
