The Original Karate Kid Is Returning to Theatres, So Get Ready to Wax On, Wax Off

Dust off your bandana and prepare to sweep the leg. In honour of The Karate Kid's 35th anniversary, the 1984 film is returning to theatres this year for two days! Not to be confused with the 2010 version featuring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, the original movie from the '80s stars Ralph Macchio as Daniel, a bullied teen who learns martial arts (and plenty of life lessons) from his wise handyman, Mr. Miyagi, played by Pat Morita. Participating theatres across the US will show The Karate Kid on Sunday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 2. You can score tickets for the nostalgic experience on the Fathom Events website starting on Feb. 15, so mark your calendars and start practicing your moves now. Who's ready to wax on, wax off?
