The Cast From My Girl Is All Grown Up, and We Haven't Sobbed This Hard Since Thomas J Died

The 66-year-old actor, comedian, musician, and filmmaker has certainly kept himself busy since his My Girl days. Though his reign as one of the original Saturday Night Live cast members ended back in '79, Aykroyd has since returned for a dozen guest appearances, the latest of which was in 2013. He also played an Episcopal priest in his own ABC sitcom, Soul Man, which ran for two seasons.

One of Aykroyd's biggest projects was taking on the role of one of the executive producers for the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, in which he makes a cameo appearance, along with several other members of the original Ghostbusters cast. He continues to manage the House of Blues chain of music venues, which he cofounded, and the Crystal Head Vodka brand he created. Aykroyd is also still married to his wife of 35 years, Donna Dixon, with whom he shares three daughters.

Though Chlumsky appeared and starred in several television films and series in the mid to late 1990s, she took an acting hiatus to attend college at University of Chicago, where she graduated in 2002 a BA in International Studies. After working as a fact-checker and editorial assistant, Chlumsky decided she missed acting, and she went to the Atlantic Acting School in New York City to receive the formal training she'd never actually received before playing Vada.

Since then, Chlumsky — now 37 — has had roles in independent films, including Blood Car and In the Loop, and since 2012, she has portrayed Amy Brookheimer on the HBO series Veep, for which she has received five Emmy nominations for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series. Chlumsky has also brought her talent to Broadway, appearing in the plays You Can't Take It with You and Living on Love. She and her husband Shaun So, whom she met in college, have been married since 2008 and have two daughters together.

Original scream queen Curtis, now 59, hasn't limited herself to acting since My Girl. Besides earning acting credits for films True Lies, Freaky Friday, and You Again, as well as in the comedy horror show Scream Queens, Curtis has written ten children's books with illustrator Laura Cornell. She will also be reprising her iconic role of Laurie Strode in a Halloween sequel, which is set to be released later this year, 40 years after the premiere of John Carpenter's original Halloween.

As an outspoken Democrat, Curtis has stood behind several humanitarian and political causes, including her appearance with Martin Sheen and Brad Pitt in a performance of Dustin Lance Black's play 8, which reenacts the federal trial that overturned California's ban on same-sex marriage. Curtis has been married to actor Christopher Guest since 1984, and the couple has raised two adopted children together.

After his run as the title character in Richie Rich and Kevin McCallister in Home Alone, Culkin took a nearly decade-long hiatus from acting, attending private school in Manhattan and only taking on a role in the play Madame Melville in London's West End. In 2003, Culkin reappeared on the big screen with roles in Party Monster and Saved!. He also published a semi-autobiographical novel, Junior, which talks about childhood stardom and his strained relationship with his father.

More recently, the 37-year-old has focussed on his music career, and he was featured as a musician in Adam Green's 2011 film, The Wrong Ferrari. He also began a comedy rock band 2014 called The Pizza Underground. Culkin is set to appear in Changeland, an upcoming comedy-drama film written and directed by Seth Green. After a four-year marriage with Rachel Miner and an eight-year relationship with Mila Kunis, Culkin has most recently been linked to Changeland costar Brenda Song.

In his long and incredibly successful career, 69-year-old Masur has appeared in over 80 films, most of which took place before his role in My Girl, but has since appeared in The Patriots, Forget Paris, The Face on the Milk Carton, and Tumbledown, among others. Masur has also taken on dozens of recurring and guest TV roles, appearing in All My Children, The Good Wife, Younger, Orange Is the New Black, and Transparent.

Masur has served two terms as president of the Screen Actors Guild, and he is currently a member of the Corporate Board of the Motion Picture & Television Fund. He and his first wife, Fredda Weiss, divorced after nearly 30 years of marriage in 2004, and he was remarried that same year to Eileen Henry, to whom he is still married.

Since My Girl, Dunne — now 63 — has appeared in the movies Quiz Show, I Like It Like That, and Dallas Buyers Club. He has also made guests appearances on the small screen, with roles in Frasier, Alias, Law and Order, and House of Lies. Though it only lasted one season, Dunne also played Tony Mink in the TNT comedy Trust Me.

Dunne has earned several producing and directing credits, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Duke of Groove, which he directed and cowrote. Other production credits include Baby It's You, After Hours, Running on Empty, and Game 6. He has also directed five feature films, including Addicted to Love and Practical Magic. Though he and his wife of six years, actress Carey Lowell, divorced in 1995, Dunne remarried in 2009 to Australian stylist Anna Bingemann. He and Carey have one daughter together, actress Hannah Dunne.
