Twilight Movie Back in Theatres 2018

Get Ready to Feel 15 Again: Twilight Is Returning to Theatres For Its 10th Anniversary

It's been a whole decade since Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) first locked eyes with each other in biology class, and to celebrate, Lionsgate Summit Entertainment and Fathom Events are bringing the vampire love story that defined a generation back to the big screen. For two days, Twilight is making its way back to 450 movie theatres around the country, giving fans of the box office phenomenon and Stephanie Meyer's bestselling series a chance to take a trip back in time to Forks, WA, where it all began.

Based on Meyer's novel of the same name, Twilight was ripped from the pages and brought to life in 2008 and quickly became one of the year's biggest box office hits, as well as one of the highest-grossing female-directed films of all time. The Catherine Hardwicke-directed film follows Bella and Edward, a teenage girl and a vampire, respectively, who fall in love and subsequently find themselves fighting to keep Bella safe from a flock of evil vampires. After Twilight made waves in 2008, the movie was followed by four more instalments and grossed over $3 billion at the global box office, while Meyer's book series sold over 100 million copies worldwide.

The two-day showing will take place on Oct. 21 and 23 and will include a brand-new introduction from Hardwicke, as well as a sneak peek at Twilight Tour . . . 10 Years Later, which will be featured on the film's upcoming 4K Ultra HD DVD release that'll also honour the milestone. Filmgoers will be able to choose from two showtimes per day and can purchase tickets to the showing over at the Fathom Events website.
