Who Will Be the Bachelorette in 2018?

Taking Bets on the Next Bachelorette? Put Your Money on One of These Ladies

Season 22 of The Bachelor is quickly nearing its end — we're already heading to hometown dates — and that has us asking: who will the next Bachelorette be? There are so many options. While this season's Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr., was a choice that no one saw coming, usually the next person handing out roses comes from the current season, and any of these ladies could take on that duty and nail it.

Although it's more than likely that the Bachelorette will be chosen from one of the top four ladies — SPOILER: if you haven't watched this week's episode, stop reading now — which include Becca K., Lauren B., Kendall, and Tia, the top seven women could all be possible contenders.

While we don't actually have a say in which lady gets the honor of 25 or more men vying for her heart next season, we do have a few reasons each of the seven women deserve a shot at it. To see why the final seven (four of whom are still in the running to win Arie's heart and receive a proposal this season) should and/or could be the next Bachelorette, keep reading.

1. Bekah M.

We know Bekah M. is only 22 years old, but she is adorable, totally entertaining, and a blast to watch on a date. While this usually makes for a better contestant than the actual Bachelorette, Bekah would be fun to watch on a weekly basis . . . assuming she really is ready for marriage.

2. Sienne

Sienne might cut her pasta before eating it (sorry, we're not over this dining move from her Italian date), but overall, she's a real winner. She is a straight shooter, is open to romance, and seems like a pretty chill girl.

3. Jacqueline

Who doesn't love a lady with beauty and brains? Jacqueline is so smart, sweet, and complicated, which makes for the best Bachelorette. Sure, she took herself out of the game, but maybe if she was running the show, she'd be ready to really let the process work.

4. Kendall

The Bachelorette's first taxidermist handing out weekly roses? Sign us up! Kendall is a little on the odd side (she loves taxidermy, which is weird — sorry), but she is so honest, open, and brilliant, which are awesome traits for the leading lady of this reality series.

5. Becca K.

We can't get enough of Becca K. She's not wild or too young or anything like that; instead, she's more of your girl-next-door type, and that's exactly what this show needs. Plus, she knows how to dress, which is a bonus.

6. Lauren B.

Although Lauren B. is a heavy frontrunner to win this season of The Bachelor — Arie said he was falling in love with her . . . to her face! — if she doesn't get that final rose, she could pursue a path as the next Bachelorette. While she is very shy, she's broken down lots of barriers within herself this season, so her love journey could continue, and we're all for watching that unfold.

7. Tia

If Tia doesn't win this season of The Bachelor, we would start a petition to have her at the helm of The Bachelorette stat. She's so stinking sassy and honest AF, and if we're being honest, she had us at hello, or rather, "Please tell me you don't have a little wiener," which was her opening line when stepping out the limo on night one. She sounds like a winner, don't you think?
