BRIT Awards 2021: All of the Winners of the Night
Dua Lipa, Little Mix, and More: All of the Artists Who Won at the 2021 BRIT Awards
The 2021 BRIT Awards took place on 11 May at the O2 Arena in London, hosted by Jack Whitehall and held in front of an audience of nominees, presenters, and key workers. It was the not only the first live event at the arena since the coronavirus pandemic, but it was also one of the first award show to be recorded entirely in person, with only a few artists like Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, and Pink streaming in from America. According to Whitehall, Haim flew to London and did the compulsory quarantine to be able to attend.
The lineup for the evening was truly incredible, with performances by Dua Lipa, Arlo Parks, Headie One, Olivia Rodrigo, Coldplay, and the winner of the BRITs rising star award, Griff. The roster of live presenters was also pretty impressive, as stars like Maisie Williams, Billy Porter, Lewis Capaldi, Celeste, and Clara Amfo took the stage to hand out the awards. Taylor Swift even stopped by in order to receive the Global Icon Award — becoming the first woman to do so.
But, of course, the entire reason for the concert is the actual award ceremony, and Swift wasn't the only artist whose win was historic. Little Mix, who won Best Group of the Year, were the first girl group to ever do so, a fact that they highlighted in their powerful acceptance speech. Keep on reading to find out all the artists who won at the 2021 BRIT Award.
