What happens at Coachella doesn't stay at Coachella — especially when you're a celebrity. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were captured on video kissing at the music festival during weekend one, leaving fans to wonder if they're officially back together following their November 2021 split. In any case, it seems Cabello was lyrically inspired by music festival connections.

In a snippet from an unreleased song Cabello shared on Instagram on 20 April, she sings about asking someone else if they're going to Coachella and admits that, if they do, it would consume her thoughts throughout the weekend. "How come you're just so much better? Is this going to end ever? I guess I'll f*ck around and find out," she begins. "Are you coming to Coachella? If you don't it's whatever. If you do, honey, it'll be all I think about."

Upon hearing the short snippet from the song, fans immediately connected the lyrics to Cabello's relationship with Mendes. Cabello captioned the post with "4.12" — that date is just days before the festival kicked off on 14 April and the pair's reunion at the event.

While neither Cabello nor Mendes has confirmed explicitly that they're back together, a fan spotted the pair holding hands while out and about in Santa Monica, California, on 19 April, and captured it on video (via TMZ), so all signs point to the "Señorita" singers having reconciled.

The bigger question, we suppose, is whether or not Cabello will release the entire song she teased, which appears to be tentatively titled "June Gloom" and clocks in at 3 minutes and 16 seconds long, based on the screen recording. Only time will tell.
