Chlöe Wants to Be Loved "Completely and Deeply" in New Song

Chlöe has been dropping breadcrumbs about her debut solo album for months, and the release date is so close we can almost taste it. Nearly six months after performing her first solo single, "Have Mercy," at the MTV VMAs, Chlöe released a teaser for her new song "Treat Me." In the span of 25 seconds, Chlöe — who is covered head to toe in diamonds like a chandelier — transports us to a world where sentences are spoken in song and punctuated with angelic harmonies. "Treat me like I treat me. Love me like I love me, completely and deeply," she sings in the chorus.

"Treat me coming soon 💎 pre-save before it drops 😉," the singer captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday. Chlöe's upcoming album, which remains untitled, will mark her first release as a solo artist after putting out two albums as one half of sister duo Chloe x Halle. As for additional tracks to expect on the new album, Chlöe — who recently sparked dating rumours with Gunna — hasn't shared much. But we do know that her single "Light Flex," which she shared on Twitter in November, was probably just a bonus release to get fans excited for what's to come. Still, we wouldn't mind listening to all the songs that didn't make it on the album as we await the official release.
