Dan Levy might now be the star of a hugely popular sitcom, but he was once an extra sitting in a pew as Kelly Clarkson threw a wedding band at her philandering fiancé. In a recent appearance on Clarkson's talk show, the Schitt's Creek actor reminisced about his little-known cameo in her dramatic "Behind These Hazel Eyes" music video. "Welcome to my early acting career," said Levy.
The two also shared a surprising anecdote about how Clarkson nearly injured herself while filming the climactic scene in which she flees from her wedding. "No one actually told me that there were stairs when you open the doors," Clarkson said. "I was in track. I ran, and I ran so hard I didn't actually fall, I like flew down the stairs with this giant dress. Didn't get one bruise. Thank you."
Meanwhile, Levy, who was portraying a wedding guest, of course witnessed the whole thing. "We watched you free fall forward down a set of stairs, and then there was an odd calm that hit the room," he said, asking himself in that moment, "Is she still alive? What happened to her?"
