"Fast X" Brings Together Jimin, Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, Muni Long, and Jvke For "Angel Pt. 1"

When it comes to movie soundtracks, the Fast & Furious franchise excels. Over 22 years and 10 movies, the franchise has produced countless musical hits tied to its films. From classics like "2 Fast 2 Furious"'s "Act a Fool" by Ludacris and "Fast & Furious"'s "Blanco" by Pitbull and Pharrell to the more emotional offerings like "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth from "Furious 7," there's a Fast & Furious franchise hit for fans of any musical genre. Now, it looks like the franchise's newest addition, "Fast X," will add yet another hit to its music history.

On May 9, it was announced via the official The Fast Saga Twitter account that the next single off the movie's official soundtrack is called "Angel Pt. 1," and it features a lineup of musical artists from all different corners of the music industry: NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, BTS's Jimin, Jvke, and Muni Long.

"Angel Pt. 1" follows the release of three other original tracks off the "Fast X" soundtrack: "Let's Ride" by YG, Ty Dolla $ign, and Lambo4oe; "Won't Back Down" by YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Bailey Zimmerman, and Dermot Kennedy; and "Gasolina (Safari Riot Remix)" by Daddy Yankee, Myke Towers, and Safari Riot. However, "Angel Pt. 1" will be the first track off the album to get the proper music video treatment.

On May 9, a one-minute preview of "Angel Pt. 1" was released across all the official Fast & Furious music channels. Check out the snippet below, which previews some of Jvke, Jimin, and Kodak Black's portions of the song.

Also on May 9, NLE Choppa released a 25-second snippet of the "Angel Pt. 1" music video, which features all of the song's featured artists standing in the centre of various expansive rooms and landscapes as Muni Long and Jimin sing the song's chorus.

"Fast X"'s "Angel Pt. 1" Release Date

"Angel Pt. 1" drops digitally on May 18, one day before the official "Fast X" soundtrack drops alongside the movie's premiere on May 19.

The "Fast X" soundtrack is available for preorder now physically for $15 and digitally for $10 on the "Fast X" soundtrack website.
