The Viral London Tube Singer Is Releasing a Single, and We’re So Ready

The internet can't get enough of Charlotte Awbery, the singer from Essex who went viral after she was stopped in the London Underground to play "Finish the Lyric" with host Kevin Freshwater. The video has since been viewed 60 million times globally, and people are obsessed with her incredible talent. Awbery is so popular, last week she was even a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She's now making the rounds of the UK chat shows, and on Monday, the singer-songwriter of 15 years stopped by Lorraine to talk all about being a viral sensation. Not only did she give a totally spontaneous performance while she casually sat on the sofa but she also announced some exciting news. Awbery will be releasing her own single, which will be a cover of the A Star Is Born song "Shallow" (the song that thrust her into fame), so we can all listen to her beautiful version of the track in full.
