Notting Hill Carnival 2020 Is Going Digital, and You Have an All-Access Pass
Notting Hill Carnival won't be cancelled by social distancing this year; instead, the anticipated annual Caribbean street festival will be happening online — and everyone has an all-access pass.
Notting Hill Carnival: Access All Areas is giving mas-lovers the carnival experience at home. Streaming live at nhcarnival.org from the August bank holiday on Saturday, 29 Aug., at 6pm to midnight, right through to Sunday, 30 Aug. and Monday, 31 Aug. from 9am to 11pm, carnival-lovers can tune in to live steel bands, sound systems, mas and Brazilian brands, plus food and drink shows, interviews, and exclusive playlists at spotify.com/carnival. "In this unprecedented year and for the first time in its 54 year history, Notting Hill Carnival has moved entirely online, opening up to a global audience that can share in one of the world's great events," said the Notting Hill Carnival organisation in a press statement.
