P-Valley Season 2 Episode 9 Exclusive Sneak Peek | Video

Mercedes's Dancing Days at the Pynk May Be Over in This Exclusive "P-Valley" Sneak Peek

Season two of "P-Valley" is soon coming to an end, but not without a few more curveballs to keep us on the edge of our seats. In episode nine, titled "Snow," the Pynk's "framily" comes through the club to show up and show out for yet another unforgettable night (remember Murda Night?). However, in this exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming episode, Uncle Clifford (Nicco Annan) and Mercedes (Brandee Evans) reach a crossroad when the latter realises her days dancing at the Pynk are pretty much over.

"I should've been out this hoe five f*cking years ago."

"I can't bust it like I used to; I'm way past retirement. I should've been out this hoe five f*cking years ago," Mercedes sadly exclaims in the clip following her storm out of the club. With Keyshawn (Shannon Thornton), aka Miss Mississippi, back vying her a spot at the Pynk, its veteran headliner is coming to grips with the fact that it may be time for her to move on. And even Uncle Clifford's words of wisdom and cheeky rules can't bring Mercedes comfort in her crisis.

"Mercedes, ever since I was a youngin', I thought I'd find me a castle with a tall tower and I'd lock myself up in there and throw away the key," Uncle Clifford says. "This place has been that castle for me, but even castles crumble — especially if they're made out of sand. Sometimes you just going to have to learn how to dream new dreams." To which Mercedes replies, "Seem like you talkin' to yourself."

Will Mercedes say goodbye to the Pynk for good? Will Uncle Clifford replace her headliner with Miss Mississippi, or even newcomers Whisper (Psalms Salazar) and Roulette (Gail Bean)? Find out when episode nine of "P-Valley" season two premieres on Sunday, Aug. 7.
