The "P-Valley" Season 2 Soundtrack Is an Ode to Southern Grit
It's time to go back "down in the valley where the girls get naked," because "P-Valley" has finally returned for season two. The beloved Starz series blew us away in summer 2020 when it welcomed us down to the Pynk, down in good ole' Chucalissa, MS. "P-Valley" spared nothing as it took an honest look at strip-club culture and told the grittiest stories we've ever heard.
Now, if it's one thing "P-Valley" is going to give, it's a plethora of strip club anthems to shake something to. So it's only right that season two's soundtrack features bangers from the South's finest — from LightSkinKeisha to Jucee Froot and Lil Murda (played by J. Alphonse Nicholson) too.
As a special treat for fans who waited for the highly anticipated return of "P-Valley", the series tapped Megan Thee Stallion to record a new original song just for season two. The untitled song has yet to be released, but we're hopeful that its debut (and a potential "P-Valley" cameo from Megan) will happen soon.
