The DCOM to end all DCOMs, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen centres around urban teenager Mary Elizabeth Cep (Lindsay Lohan), or Lola, as she prefers to be called. When her family moves from New York City to a small suburb in New Jersey Lola realises that she no longer automatically gets the attention she desires. Put off by her new situation, she sets out to get the lead in the school play and outdo her new school's current queen bee, Carla Santini (Megan Fox). With the help of her shy new friend Ella (Alison Pill), Lola's determined to make her mark.
