Retired Ukrainian-American autoworker John Demjanjuk was living the American dream in Cleveland until a group of Holocaust survivors said they recognised him as a Nazi camp guard who killed and tortured Jewish prisoners in WWII. Shortly after, Demjanjuk was taken to Israel for trial, causing a media frenzy to break out.
