Season 5, episode 11: "The One With All the Resolutions"
Everyone decides to set New Year's resolutions in this episode, and one of Ross's is to try new things. This includes wearing leather pants on a date. He quickly realises they're not so comfortable after he finds himself overheating on her leather couch, and then unable to get the pants back on after briefly seeking relief (and calling Joey for help) in the bathroom.
